The Peter M. Bakker Agency, Inc. was established in 1974 to provide insurance products to protect personal and business clients. In 1976 we acquired the George B. Fisher Co, the first insurance agency to be incorporated in New England in 1872.

Over the last thirty years we have grown to over 40 dedicated insurance professionals serving thousands of personal, financial services, commercial, and employee benefits clients in Connecticut and many other states. Established affiliations with a network of strategic partners in Connecticut provide our clients with state-wide personal service.
